Brendan is our Medical Director. A General Practitioner with a sports medicine practice over many years. He has experience in a broad range of sports injuries, assessment and rehabilitation. He likes to work closely with coaches and team managers with a focus on injury prevention and graduated return to full health. His sports medicine practice covers a broad range of sports with past and current event involvement including running, horse eventing, paddlesports, rowing and ice hockey.

His practice is based on an intergrated team approach for assessment and rehabilitation. Each injury requires detailed and accurate diagnosis and a customised team to address specific rehabilitation needs.

Carol believes rehabilitation must be individualised to address your overall health and is aware that not everybody has the same passion for “exercise” or gym-based strengthening. She believes movement and rehabilitation does not need to be daunting and can be incorporated into most people’s lifestyle. She works with clients to better understand their injury or pain and develop sustainable self-management plans which are realistic and sustainable for recovery and prevention. Carol has developed a specific interest in persistent pain and also leads anew Pain Management Centre’s physiotherapy service.
